This is our family’s favourite block art. It’s long, so its hard to get it all in one photo. It is displayed in our stairwell landing where we can all appreciate it, and get a Laugh out of it.
It says laughter with the letters spread out amongst pictures of each member of our l-a-r-g-e family, usually with big smile on their face.
I’ve included close ups, so you, too, might appreciate the Laughter in my family.
This is a new concept for Block Spot. We call them Photo Blocks.
They are sepia pictures dissected and put on 2 inch (approx) blocks. With the pictures above of Mitchell and I, they are actually mounted on opposite sides of the same blocks, so you can either have them displayed on something like a pony wall, or a kitchen bar counter so its viewable from both sides, or can have them on a regular shelf or mantel and just turn them around occasionally as if you just changed the photo!
My sister got engaged in January, and this is a photo from back at the beginning when she first met her fiance last summer on the Appalachian Trail. Mom thinks Seth is looking so admiringly at Rauchelle.
It’s kind of blurry, sorry about that. But this is the most recent “Welcome” for our entryway. It’s in black/grey/offwhite.
Maret and Mom had a go at creating abstract with crayons. Was fun, and looks great on our living room wall. Certainly stands out.
'Family' was made to order for a lady wanting to display it in her dining room. I love the serenity invoked by the greens.
